Also excited to have two summer students with us. Darion Smith did a practicum with the ACC in the spring and is working in the ACC office over the summer. She is entering her 4th year in Aboriginal Governance at the University of Manitoba. She comes from Peguis First Nation and is doing an amazing job! Clara George has recently joined our team on a practicum from the Momentum Centre Program. She is from Kinonjeoshtegon First Nation and wants to get into administrative studies. Clara is doing a great job and we are excited to have her join our team to grow her experience. As a result of our Annual General Meeting at the new Alt Hotel, Winnipeg, on June 24th, we welcome new board members and welcome back returning board members. We are looking forward to an exciting and important year. Our new board members are Wayne Flamand, Kate Kehler, Terry Brown, Eleanor Brockington and Terrance Owen. Returning board members are Damon Johnston, Dee
James Beddome, Monica James, Scott Rose, Tom
and myself. We have lots of great work to do. Our 9th Annual Golf Tournament was a great time, check out the pictures under the Gallery on our website!
