?Autumn is a popular time for tourists to visit Estes Park. In addition to the spectacular fall colors in town and in Rocky Mountain National Park the elk rut draws visitors from far and near. In both Rocky Mountain National Park and right here in the town of Estes Park the mating frenzy is a wildlife watchers dream. This weekend, we will celebrate our wonderful wapiti at the 12 th annual Elk Fest with an educational and entertaining festival. Music, food, merchandise, educational seminars and elk viewing tours are just part of the fun. All of this happens in downtown Bond Park.
