MAGON Rosé A.O.C. Mornag

Ce vin est issu de l'Appellation d'Origine contrôlée Mornag, située dans la partie Nord Est du pays, largement ouverte sur la mer et bénéficiant du climat méditerranéen. Cette région où la production du vin remonte au VIIIe siècle avant JC, époque de la splendeur de Carthage, est connue pour ses coteaux bien ensoleillés et son microclimat froid et humide pendant l'hiver et chaud et sec pendant l'été. C'est un vin qui rend hommage au carthaginois Magon, auteur d'un traité sur l'agronomie, la viticulture et la vinification dont certains préceptes sont encore utilisés de nos jours.

GRAND VIN ROSÉ DE TUNISIE

This wine is produced in the Mornag A.O.C. area located in the north-eastern part of the country, which is largely open to the sea and which benefits from the Mediterranean climate. This region, in which wine production dates back to the splendour of Carthage in the eighth century BC, is well-known for its sunny hillsides and its microclimate which is cold and wet during the winter and warm and dry during the summer. The name of this wine has been selected as a tribute to the Carthaginian Magon, author of a treatise on agronomy, winegrowing and winemaking, certain of whose ideas are still being used today.
