2011 Software, Hardware & NEW System 5.0 Updates are available for select Genisys EVO ® 2 products including NEW 2011 vehicle coverage & enhancements. AAt CARQUEST you will always find... (See p. 32 & 33) EPA regulations require all diesel engines manufactured on or after January 1, 2010 to meet lowered NOx emissions standards. Most heavy duty engine (Class 7-8 trucks) manufacturers, have chosen to utilize SCR. This Includes Detroit Diesel (DD13, DD15, and DD16 models), Cummins (ISX line), PACCAR, and Volvo/Mack. SCR-equipped engines require the periodic addition of Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF, a urea solution) to enable ble the process. To ensure the proper operation of the SCR system, operators must ensure the DEF in their vehicle consists of a 32.5% Urea/Water solution. Kit includes: Refractometer, dropper, lens wipe cloth, instructions and quick guide, screwdriver and case. Additional Delivery Charges May Apply. A Digital Multimeter and Lab Scope All-In-One Compact Tester! Verify proper wheel speed sensor operation right from the service bay, no road test required. It works on all old and new style sensors. Simply connect the tester to the sensor and spin the wheel. Sensor shorts or opens are immediately identified. The parade of LED's D's provide visual confirmation of signal output. The signal error LED indicates erratic or intermittent signal output. When used with a scan tool that provides wheel speed sensor data, the Signal simulation feature simplifies pinpointing wire harness and ECU problems.
