the non-fiction section of the Eleanor London Côte Saint-Luc Public Library after him. Mayor Anthony Housefather, members of city council and Director of Library Services Janine West formally unveiled the section at a small ceremony with Mr. Fisher in attendance. Councillor Mike Cohen spearheaded the initia- tive, working specifically with the mayor, Ms. West, Councillors Sam Goldbloom (responsible for the library) and Allan J. Levine (Fisher's District Councillor). Mr. Fisher, who has lived in Côte Saint-Luc for 56 years, said he was flattered by the honour. He noted that he spends a lot of time in the library, something he may even do more of now that he has retired as the hockey columnist for The Montreal Gazette, having covered the Canadiens for 58 years.
