any tee shot that lands in the 230 yard zone - avoid this bunker at all costs. It sets up the player with a mid to short iron to a green guarded by no bunkers. HOLE #6 A 542 yard dog leg right par 5 with two bunkers guarding the right side of the fairway. It is well advised to keep your tee shot left of center. A second shot should come up short of two fairway bunkers guarding the green 80 yards out. Two green-side bunkers left of the green make this green another birdie hole with three well placed shots. HOLE #7 This 367 yard par 4 has out-of-bounds and hazards down the entire right side and forces the player to stay left of center with his tee shot. With fairway bunkers 245 yards from the tee, the player must be short of these bunkers leaving a short iron to a severely tilted green from front to back. The second shot must be accurate as the green is narrow and well-guarded with two bunkers short and right of the green. HOLE #8 This 173 yard par 3 has bunkers protecting short left, right and behind the green and makes this no frills par 3 quite a test. A large green with a spine in the center makes a par well-achieved. HOLE #9 Some say this 403 yard straight-away par 4 - with the clubhouse directly behind the green - is the most picturesque hole on the course. This tree-lined hole with a wide fairway should allow the player to hit his second shot to a long, uniquely shaped green. With a valley in the middle of the green that drops 4' from the front to center and again rises 3' to the back of the green, the player will find a challenging putting experience on number nine. HOLE #10 Starting your back nine, a 375 yard par 4 slight dog leg right puts the placement of the tee shot a premium. Trees down the left and right side of the fairway require the player to select the proper club from the tee to find the fairway. Once on the fairway, a short iron to a flat green surrounded by bunkers short and long should give the player a good look at birdie. HOLE #11 An imposing 472 yard dog leg left par 4 requires your best tee shot of the day. A 40 yard fairway makes the tee shot inviting, however a miss left or right will find out-of-bounds or hazard. Once in the fairway most players will need a metal wood for their second.
