HE: "There are so many things you can be involved in here. I don't care what your background is; you can be as busy or not as busy as you want.? SHE: "Pete and I have gotten into gardening. Mostly, though, our efforts just end up feeding the deer.? WHY ST. JAMES PLANTATION: "Got time for a long story? It goes back to the 1990s when Louise and I were working and trying to figure our where we wanted to live in retirement. We didn't want Florida, but were interested in communities as far south as Georgia and as far north as Virginia. We visited St. James in the 1990s, liked it and sort of set it as a base to see if we could find anything better. We looked at various communities and we came back here five times. Finally we purchased a lot in January 2004. We locked in and decided this is where we want to be.? WHAT'S YOUR FAVORITE GOLF COURSE AND WHY? SHE: "I like playing The Reserve Club the best but I like the views at The Founders Club. Holes 16, 17 and 18 are just breathtaking. You take it all in and you just say: 'Oh my God, I can't believe I'm living here and doing this!'?
