BY ALLISON BALLARD Rich Palazzi, a new St. James resident, decided to bike the short distance from his house to the Woodlands Park Amphitheatre where the community's Earth Day Celebration took place. It was a beautiful day and he'd just closed on his new home. Why not go see some live music, chat with friends and visit the eco-fair? "This whole thing is a dream come true,? he said. "I'm retired now. My schedule was kind of free.? 28 He parked his bike next to a group of 30 or so that stood in a grove of pine trees close to the center lake. Nearby, under a covered bridge, neighbors and volunteers representing several eco-conscious groups gave out information on everything from oyster shell recycling, to native plants and birds, to forest-fire prevention.
