By P.A. Sévigny The Suburban Ten years after police gave radical activist Jaggi Singh a ticket for putting up posters advertising the city's annual Anarchist Book Fair, Mtre. Julius Grey, the well-known civil-rights advocate, finally convinced the province's Appeals Court that article 469 of the Montreal municipal code was in fact an offence against freedom of expression as guaranteed by the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedom. "People must be able to speak freely in a public space," said Grey during last Sunday's interview with Beryl Wajsman on The Suburban News Hour on CJAD. "It's all about their freedom of choice."
