St. Laurent SME businesses offered HR workshops

By Joel Goldenberg The Suburban St. Laurent Economic Development (DESTL) is offering small to mediumsized businesses a series of workshops to improve their human resource functions and ?become more competitive and attractive on the labour market,? DESTL recently announced. The eight workshops and ?personalized coaching sessions? are subsidized to the tune of 75 percent by the provincial employment ministry. The program, called PME (small to medium-sized businesses) de choix, lasts a year and is meant to help companies ?facilitate the work of managers, develop the necessary skills to manage employees
