The 940 AM signal now belongs to the Canadian Radio-television Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) which does leave the door open for anyone to propose a brand new radio license on that dial. Sévigny The Suburban On Monday, after years of endless litigation, mounting legal bills and yet another multi-million dollar lawsuit still lingering before the courts, Westmount?s city council put an end to Shatha Al-Mussawi?s plans to build her majestic new mansion on her Cedar Avenue property. While getting ready to leave city hall after the vote was passed, Ms. Al-Mussawi was visibly distraught after which she told the press she had nothing to say about the council?s decision ?for the moment.? In a meeting Mayor Peter Trent described as a new precedent and a victory for his administration?s efforts to conduct an open and transparent government, two city architects each used up to 30 minutes to debate the relative merits of the Cedar Avenue project. One of the city?s more prominent architects, McGill Professor Bruce Anderson?s PowerPoint presentation demonstrated that the Al- Mussawi home was in line with the
