Goldstone report ?travesty of justice?: UN Watch?s Hillel Neuer

Neuer added that the January 2009 mandate for what ultimately became the Goldstone Report basically considered Israel guilty in advance. ?The president of the council couldn?t get anyone to take the job [of a fact-finding mission] for three months because it was so one-sided. Goldstone finally took the job, and he claimed that he somehow amended the mandate so he was able to look at both sides. In fact, that never happened. Goldstone has given us a series of alternative and conflicting contradictory theories on this ? it?s almost embarrassing. ?Privately, Goldstone has been basically conceding that maybe he should have gone back to the council and asked them to change it, but you can see the council would never have approved that.?
