untrue. If I have my facts correct, the Dana 44 was used in Cherokees from ?87-89. However not plentiful, these are not entirely uncommon. Yes, the Dana 44 was used in the MJ, as well as the AMC 20, which is a stout axle with the one-piece axles. The second correction I must add is that the XJ was NEVER used with an 8.8 housing (Chrysler or otherwise). They were available with the Corporate (Chrysler) 8.25 (offered in both 29 spline and 31 spline in later years). I?m sure there has been other Jeep nuts like me that have caught these errors. Thank You, Kelly O?Neill Kansas City ORA FREELANCE WRITER GETS SOME PROPS I am writing you hoping you can direct this plaque in the right direction. Debbie Economos came to our track and your magazine published her article in September 2009. We believe she did an excellent job in the wording and coverage of our style of racing. We had four other nationally recognized magazines publish articles this year on our track, but we know without a doubt that Off-Road Adventures was the best published article in 2009. We thank you, your magazine and Debbie for supporting the sport of mud racing of all types.
