Norfolk County? s Municipal Alcohol Policy
Norfolk County owns and manages facilities and property where alcohol consumption is not permitted and other facilities and property where alcohol consumption is permitted under the authority of a Special Occasion Permit. Norfolk County has developed this Municipal Alcohol Policy (Policy) in order to: 1. Promote a safe, responsible and enjoyable environment for those who use these facilities; and, 2. Prevent alcohol related problems that may arise from alcohol consumption within its facilities. Facilities which are eligible for events where alcohol will be served under a Special Occasion Permit are: community centres, halls, arenas, recreation centres, museums, and various parks.
