The Allen School Celebrates 50 Years
riends and supporters of The Allen School gathered at the Governor's Mansion on August 14th for an evening full of wonderful food, drink, entertainment and a stellar live auction to celebrate 50 years of helping children. Honorary chairs Governor Mike Beebe and First Lady Ginger Beebe greeted guests alongside co-chairs Richard Levi and Marilyn Reed. Glazer's Distributors of Arkansas was the presenting sponsor of the event which featured a Tommy Bahama sponsored specialty drink bar. Vocalist Lawrence Hamilton and the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra string quartet entertained guests throughout the evening. Proceeds from the event will support The Allen School's efforts in building a new facility.
