Hospice Supporters and Foodies Delight!
espite the out-of-the-ordinary heavy summer rain, it was a packed house at the Restaurant Week Kick-Off Party, Sunday August 10 at the River Market Pavilion. Party-goers had the opportunity to sample food from participating restaurants in the River Cities Restaurant Week, while enjoying an array of beverages provided by Glazer's Distributors of Arkansas. The event boasted live music, as well as a vibrant atmosphere and plethora of energetic volunteers. All proceeds from the event will benefi t Arkansas Hospice, a not-for-profi t organization that works daily to enhance the quality of life for those facing terminal illness and grief by surrounding them with love and embracing them with the best in physical, emotional and spiritual care. Restaurant Week was held August 15-30 at participating restaurants across the metro area.
