LITERACY LIBRARY

Reading was always easy for

Adele Ann Taylor.

But it wasn?t easy for all of her classmates. Adele wanted to change that story! So when she was 13, she created Adele?s Literacy Library.

Literacy

means knowing how to read and write. Adele wanted her literacy library to give all people the chance to enjoy good books. What Adele likes best about reading is that it lets her use her imagination. ?When you read, you can go anywhere in the world,? Adele says. ?With reading, all things are possible.?

Reaching Out in a Small Way Is Important!

?Mighty oaks from tiny acorns grow.? What does this old saying mean? It means that much bigger, greater things can grow from something as small as a seed! So what you and your Brownie friends do together doesn?t have to be a big thing. A small thing can be important, too!
