The Workforce Center is the region's one stop career center and provides comprehensive services to job seekers.
These services are designed to assist job seekers obtain and advance their careers and include resume assistance, access to job banks, current labor market information, and interview guidance. The Workforce Center also offers specialized job seeker programs for seniors, veterans, military spouses, displaced workers, and workers affected by natural disasters or mass lay offs. During the 2006- 2007 year, the Workforce Center served 11,320 individuals, of which 3,111 were placed into employment at an average wage rate of $10.51.
