That Fall Nip Is In The Air!
As wonderful as summer is, I have to admit I love fall a tad more. The coolness of the evening, watching the leaves turn a burnt orange and red. The crisp freshness of morning as you open your eyes and crawl from under a comforter or two. Ah yes, this is the good life. What could be better? Do you realize where I?m going here? The absolute joy of opening a good book, perhaps a hot cup of your favorite beverage and if you have a fi replace, well that would be perfect. Now you may have little ones who enjoy someone reading to them. In that case, have I got a surprise for you. Your resident author has published her second children?s book called, ?A Christmas Carousel of Children?s Stories?. After my fi rst children?s book, ?Gussie the Christmas Goose and Other Stories?, was a smashing success, you wanted more. I?m happy to tell you I have the second one written, printed and ready for sale. Six wonderful and delightful stories on colored paper with twelve brilliantly illustrated pictures tucked inside. People at the Diamondhead Arts and Crafts Festival over the weekend of the 20th and 21st of September, got a sneak preview of my second book and it was enthusiastically welcomed. Some up coming book signings will be at Gulfport Festival Days, October 18th, 9-4 pm, and Barnes & Noble Booksellers in Crossroads, Gulfport, October 25th, 2-4 pm. In November on the 19th, at the USM Library on the Gulf Coast Campus from 1-3 pm. Come one and come all! I also write Cozy Little Murder Mysteries and will have some of those to sell.
