Hunter?s Museum of American Art

Walden Club
Feb. 5. ?Cellar-bration? of Hope. This blind wine tasting will be a fun way to improve your ?grape? sense of flavor. Participants pay $25 per person and bring three bottles of the same wine. Two bottles are used for the tasting and the other is put into a ?cellar? collection. The person who brings the bottle that everyone likes the most will take home the ?cellar? of wine. Feb 27, 8 a.m. 3rd Annual Scenic City Half Marathon, 5K & Charity Challenge. Come help support the Children?s Advocacy Center by signing up to run, walk or volunteer at the event. Each race participant?s entry fee will be donated to the charity selected by the participant ($5 from the half marathon entries and $2.50 from the 5K marathon entries). Museum Center at 5ive Points
Through March 13. The Ninth Annual Stitches-in-Time Quilt Exhibit, featuring over 70 contemporary and antique quilts from individuals throughout the region. The exhibit, themed ?Quilting Your Faith? will be judged by a panel of qualified quilters throughout East Tennessee. The quilt exhibits in the museum?s lobby change weekly and those created by seniors now living in assisted facilities are featured this month. The dates are as follows: Feb. 2-6: Garden Plaza Cleveland residents? quilts; Feb. 9-13: Morningside of Cleveland residents? quilts; Feb. 16-20: Wellington Place Cleveland residents? quilts; Feb. 23-27: Bradley Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center residents? quilts; March 2-6: Yolanda Ramsey?s antique quilt collection; March 9 -13: Tri-County Quilters, Dayton quilt challenge.
